Insert sense of humor here---->
I took the opportunity to go out to my first meet-up with the local cafe and vintage bike crowd. Wow, I had no idea how many cool bikes were ripping around my city. :) I went Sunday to a wrench session where a guy was working on his Yamaha smoker, and got it running with some parts and help from some of the group. Pretty cool seeing everyone pitching in and lending a hand. Another couple guys were seperating a motor, to pull the gears and replace a clutch basket. Everyone chatting about their builds, what's at home in the garage, how they got their stuff to the current point. Very fun to experience, and even more fun to meet up the following night at a local watering hole. It seemed like there were tons of ton uppers there, and I would say nearly 30 bikes in the 'lineup' curbside. Considering this was the first one of the season, and it was around 50 degrees, it was a solid turnout. I was really happy I went, and met some really great people, and saw some really awesome bikes. Time to start saving for another fixer upper!

My bike scored high praise from the guys, and I should thank everyone here for their wisdom, information, and inspiration.

Thanks again,

I don't think Eric is on DTT. You can always ask him on the CO-OH page. What questions did you have?
