Combination speedo/tach gauge?

Coast to Coast
Has anyone found a (relatively) inexpensive source for a combination cluster?
I only want to use 1 gauge (so I can mount it in the headlight shell), and I don't terribly mind if it's analog or digital.
The acewell gauges are ok (just OK... the blue lighting destroys the effect and I'm not sure changing the LED's would be terribly easy), but I'm looking for something a little more vintage or adaptable.

I've trauled monkey bike, atv, ebay, google... only a few things come up, and they tend to be rather exxy.
Apparently the honda cr93 had a combination cluster, as did the suzuki katana, but i really don't need a speedo that'll run out to any more than say, 120mph. Likewise, I want a tacho that'll read to 14k or thereabouts.

What have you guys done or come across in your endeavours?

I busted up the stock gauges and made an oval "pod" to put both of the mechanics in (Yamaha XS 650). My original intent was to mount it into the headlight bucket like the CB 450 Black Bomber, but it ended up being wider than the headlight I am using. I put the mecanisms as close together as possible, but it still ended up being wide..
Pics are old.

excellent! cheers.
i've got spare gauges but i haven't ripped the innards yet to check the layout. i was thinking the oldskool circuit boards probably have heaps of free area and might be able to drill out a hole for one of the needles, so it'd only be slightly rectangular - could work if i mount one semi-upside down.
love your work - the oval pod is unique and allows making your own face to personalise it. :)
