Okay, guys. This time things are starting to get more serious. If anyone thinks I'm out on a limb, please PM me and we can discuss it...
Perfect for a performance chopper or bobber!
This is somewhat of a rarity: Morris front (2.15x19) and rear (2.75x16) complete setup from a SOHC CB750. The front wheel includes a Morris-supplied high-performance cast iron rotor and front axle with spacers. It was mounted on a stock CB750 front end.
The rear setup is the real deal: WIDE rear rim (yes, I know it's a 16" but the 18" Morris' are skinny!), with Morris high-performance cast iron rotor, proper sprocket, Performance Machine rebuildable master cylinder (with CB750 brake pedal pivot) and Performance Machine brake caliper, as well as a custom brake caliper mount. All you need is make spacers for your rear axle and you're in like Flynn.
The wheels are in great shape except for the lousy rattle can paint. I'd do them in Ducati Gold powdercoat if I were using them.
Okay, the bottom line... I don't think I'm completely out of whack pricing this complete package at $1100 considering the condition and the difficult-to-find Morris parts as well as the Performance Machine peripherals. If anyone thinks I am, let me know; we can discuss it and I may either modify my expectations or just take it to eBay for a larger market. I kinda think, (since it's complete and there has been nothing like it on eBay in a long time) the set might even pull a higher price on eBay but I wanted to give you guys a shot first...
(BTW, if you've got one of those many skinny Morris 18" rears that don't have the necessary brake/sprocket parts, this would be a good way to get everything you need. Just sell the 16" if you don't want to use it.)
These will ship in two boxes, and I'll have to let you know the shipping cost based on how/where you'd like them shipped. Yes, our friends in Eurp and Asia, I will ship internationally but you'll need to talk to me first. And International shipping is now expensive!
