69 cb350 twin engine is out the frame.

I took of kicker arm and the metal piece it sits in to remove right bottom crank case cover to put new one on. Put everything back together kick lever seems to not be getting any compression when pushed down no soft spots nothing

So when you move the kick lever the engine is not rotating at all?

The dam thing the kicker arm sits in pain to get it off the grooves to take cover off had to bang shit out of it for it to come off

Did you take the clutch off?
Classic newbie response to taking the clutch off and then trying to kick it over without it. NOTHING HAPPENS MY ENGINE IS FUCKED.
How do I know you say? Because I did the same thing haha.

Couldn't tell if its in neutral nothing hooked to engine

Only took cover off to replace and change gasket did not touch the clutch or remove

Looked into small window they provide to look at kicker spindle gear and its not engaging on the gear ....

You may very well just need to adjust the clutch. Does the lever still spring back to 1200 after being pushed down?

Alternatively you may have forgotten to put the spring in that causes the gears to engage
