From what my dad told me, GN Gonzales dealership in Baton Rouge pretty much handled importing Hondas into our region for awhile back in the day. This is a coool little video on Mr. George.

I just saw this. Mr. Gonzales was quite a character, and the dealership was freakin huge!
I know for a fact he had the warehouse at the dealership packed solid with bikes going back several years. But there were many rumors of two other larger warehouses that were packed as well. And that Mr. Gonzales would often buy "one for the dealership, and one for him". It was also rumored that he had several iconic bikes stashed away. Everything from Dreams to Sandcasts to Interceptors, and any "Special Edition" and average bike that struck his fancy.

My dad would run bikes down from GN to the local dealerships here back in the late 60's. He said that if GN wanted a specific bike that honda would get it to him no questions asked. He was the main honda distibutor for the south maybe even the central U.S. Back then most hondas came through GN Gonzales to get to the dealerships. They recently had an auction on one of the storage areas but I missed it. Oh and I think that his sons liquidated his nice stock of bikes after he died.
