hey all,
Luvin the Ace 1 year in! rego due
cannot recommend doing all mods step by step and getting
the feed back and understanding it !! the big bore is a winner!
As I was warned , cush drives have not just failed but disappeared
Ikonick sending new parts from WA, all good !
Positive news thou!!
if I can't ride it now!
all the mods/upgrades get done !!
So front shocks fitted with heavy oil and 25mm spacer (this has been a job on the slow burner)
thanks to loan a of rifle barrel clamp! all done !!!!
front cog now plus 2 (17)
new ooracing throttle and switching being installed
would b installed but issues with new switch from ooracing seized
ahhhh wish it was easy as a quick jet change

Hey Crazy
yep cush drives all fixed
but without a test! front & rear brakes cleaned
quick throttle on and front shocks upgraded
Still to go.....
lights. indicators,horn and electric start needs
rewiring first to get new switching
happening
slow jet need swapping out and test /tune
( that will b a quick job )
and front fork brace fabricated
and find some foot pegs
easy! hoping to b done for a Saturday ride
Ps also would like to do an oil change!

Have you fabricated a front fork brace so you can remove the front mudguard/fit a smaller one? Photos?

I ridden before without front guard
and front wheel buckled up,
could of been the loose spokes thou?
Really like the minimal look so I am
making a brace out of flat aluminium
but it could evolve into something else
as you get very wet when you u get caught in the rain!
will post pic when completed
