I'm at the point of my custom exhaust where I need to decide how my mufflers are going to sit to continue further. I'm looking for feedback on what position looks best.
I took photos of flat and swept. If I go flat I will have to fab up longer muffler mounts so when looking at the flat picture keep in mind they will be a few inches further back that what they are now in order to clear some shit.
Looking forward to the feedback! Start with un-swept pictures then swept.
Im shooting for equal length as I freed up the space for the rear pipe. Ya the problem with 2 to 1 on these bikes is the right side is full of action and the left side is taking a nap. So by going exhaust on both sides it makes the left side more lively which is what I'm after.
I angled my mufflers up...that way if the bike sits in the rain they will fill up w water. Ill wait until it actually happens...then I will drill and tap a drain plug in the headers.

I would go flat/straight back and after you finish them make me a set! Flat would give the bike a more linear look, would be congruent with the frame and make your bike look larger. Just an opinion

Right now I am on the fence still. Like 9to5 says the strait does carry the lines nicely. Unlike Doc Chops (great respect though) but I don't understand why when he does viragos, the benelli tank isn't sitting strait on the bike, it alsways has a slight tilt in mutple bulds of his. Perhaps its the virago frame vs the TR1? I am very particular that that my tank and my seat are on the same constant lower line.
I suppose I should put a bow on this thread and post the results as I appreciated everyone's feedback. It turned out well, and sounds bad ass, have a listen.
