I recently made cables for my latest project. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I'd expected.
Flanders carries all the caps and end barrels. I used a china cup for a crucible to melt
the solder with a torch. The only thing I couldn't duplicate was crimping the end caps.
Still looking for a suitable crimping tool.

Thanks for the replys. The stock cables are just bothering me but I have a set of Roundslides I want to make a custom split cable for. That flanders site looks like the place to be.
