Custom Made Wiring Harnesses

I managed to pull out a bit more even after that.

After studying the XS diagram for a while, I figured out I could pull one of the relays for the headlight. Normal operations had a relay that controlled the head light so that the light didn't come on until the engine was running. No need for that if you're going kick only so out goes another four wires... ;D

Such an amazing product.

Do you have any pics of the ignition switch mounted. Try to get some ideas on where to mount mine.

Ive got a 75 Honda cl360 im building into a brat scrambler. i wanna kick start only, keyed ing, headlight taillight brakelight, points with a battery, do away with handlebar switchgear. Updated reg, rectifier would be nice. Guessing this would be no problem as i see you own a 360 ?

CB350F harness complete.

This one is a refurb rather than being all new, but you'd hardly notice it.

Retained all stock functionality with the exception of swapping out the ignition switch for a hidden toggle. Also wired up the harness for LED usage, and connected customer-supplied controls and R/R. Customer is also going kick only.

You might have just saved my build sir! Pm being sent for a 73 cb450. Kick start only. Led signals, led all in one tail light.

I can definitely do that. You don't have the stock harness, do you? I think the XR runs on AC voltage and just wanted to confirm my suspicions.

The presence of a rectifier will be a good indicator. :D

That might be missing though.

Coming out of the stator, is there a Black/Red and a Blue wire? If so, then it's AC. If the wires are yellow (and sometimes pink, white, and/or brown) then it's DC.

OK, cool. Can you send a pic of the regulator? I'm trying to find out whether or not it's an integrated regulator/rectifier.

Once we're sure you have that settled the rest is a piece of cake.

If that fourth wire in the background is a green one, we're good to go. That's your charging system sorted out.

I can get going on the harness when you're ready. Turnaround time right now is just over two weeks as I have two others I need to do and my current workload allows for about three harnesses every two weeks.

Nearly complete harness for a CB350F.

Includes replacement of stock keyed ignition with an RFID keycard system, conversion to LED turn signals, wiring of aftermarket controls, and an aftermarket regulator/rectifier.

Ok, I am sold. That looks awesome.
I will PM you to discuss if you can do mine for my '72 CB540.
Ok?

CB350 (twin) harness completed. Retains all stock functionality (even the horn!) and replaced the flasher relay with a unit that can handle both incandescent and LED signals (in case the owner wants to swap to LED later). Aftermarket regulator/rectifier replaces the stock units as well; a lithium ion battery is going into the bike.

Up next is a CB350F and an XL350R...

Super clean SOHC Bobber harness completed and shipped out. No signals or idiot lights, retains stock regulator and rectifier. Toggle switch replaces the keyed ignition and inline fuse removes the need for the fuse box. Doesn't get much better than this.
