We are trying to organise a group meet at this years CVMG Paris rally, its always fun and there are tons of cycles and events to check out. Its an opportunity to meet all the local boys and show off your winter projects. Check out the post in the new DTT events section and plan to attend.

Why not just join the CVMG? If you're thinking it's just a bunch of crusty old farts who'd turn up their noses unless you ride a Royal Enfield or Vincent you're dead wrong. Drop by the meeting this Thursday at the Long Branch Legion. 7:00 downstairs, by the bar.
Just don't wear your favourite hat.

well..at 2 yrs ago when i was in canada for a kaw triples rally the same weekend..they declined our offer to bring in aprox 20 triples...so they lost our attendence...and respect..as far as us triple owners are concerened they can have their show to themselves..

It was certainly their loss some lovely cycles there.
I was a member last year and have been on and off for over 30 years, I move my membership money around between three different organizations and during my CVMG time I have heard some negative comments regarding customised cycles (mine included) and even on the CD put out last year a club member said we dont want those noisey Harley Davidsons or something similar. Overall though the CVMG membership are a great bunch of guys & gals who appreciate all types of bikes.
What we are trying to organize here is a meet between ourselves where we can spend some time with like minded riders and support the CVMG event, there will be hundreds of cycles of all shapes and sizes and riders who like all types.

well..seeing most all the triple guys say hell with that group ( hey-let em have their lil elite club )
us triple guys wouldnt mind adding more guys to our get together that weekend..even bikes with valves are welcomed on our rides..

Does it really matter what people ride?
to me its always been about 2 types of bikers
Those that ride and those that dont.. its just that simple.
I love many bikes.. some are stock and some are not so stock.

I've been to the Paris Triple rally now for 5 years straight. For me, I don't care if the organizer was a knob and didn't want us back after we were invited the first year... No point in blaming the whole organization just because a few stuffy organizers... it's just that I don't go to Paris to park my bike in the fairgrounds and bench race, it's all about the ride, the longer the better. ;D plenty of time for brewski's after.

Lots of Brewski's with the guys that camp over! Our guys that show up are a mixed bunch some ride in for the day others treat it as a party and spend the weekend looking at cycles, drinking beer and telling tall stories. Ronald Rodney James Intrudin the 1st and Aussie Terry will keep you entertained with tall stories, jokes and a wealth of old time info. I personally do the later I take advantage of the wealth of knowledge available and get some good idea's for my next build.
Most of us ride hard most weekends so some downtime with like minded riders is a plus.

Drop by and say hello then 78 Intrudin will be camping in our area someone you know well from what I remember.

A few of us will be there that weekend... just like the last few years. ;)
