These rearsets are designed around the 1982 CX500.

Emailed the company to find out if they work on other years but he wasn't sure. The shifter on the CX500 is a little different so I thought it might be easier to buy a complete set rather than doing the fab work.
Anybody know if there is any difference between my 1978 frame and the 1982 frame that would keep me from being able to use these?
Worst case, the company is about 3 hours from me, I could drive over to confirm.
Hmmm.....so might be best to just pick up a cheaper rearset and do the fab work.
cxman, do you have any pictures of rearsets you've fabbed up? Seems like you always have a picture for any of my questions.
Is there anyone else out there working on relocating the pegs rearward about 4" for a CX500?
Im thinking of using some sport bike stuff and building a linkage and lots of fab....
How does the shifter feel with working angles like that? I like the simplicity and lack of linkage set up. I was worried that putting the shifter at an angle so far back like that would cause binding and poor shift quality.
