DCC full indexable rear sets with passenger pegs

Been Around the Block
I am looking at these rear sets from Dime City for my CB750, and I want to keep my passenger pegs. So since most guys just put rear sets where the passenger pegs were, could I use these rear sets and mount them somewhere else? So my question is, is it just up to me to fab up some sort of bracket and these will fit? Could I buy a mounting bracket easier than making my own? Thanks

You'll need to fab up a mounting bracket of some form. There are a couple of rearset kits out there that do bolt onto the CB750, but they're uncommon and expensive.

Most people put them on the rear pegs because they don't have the capability to create a properly located mounting bracket. The rear footpegs on most bikes, for most riders, are too far back.

What year CB750?

I also used those DCC rear-sets. I welded tabs on my frame and tapped threads into them for my passenger pegs. I just leave them out unless I need them then just thread them in.

That is awesome! I'll definitely have to look at doing that. I love how you can just take em right out.

Thank you. The passenger position isnt the most comfortable but I didnt really want it to be for any long rides.

Yea I don't plan on long trips with a passenger either. Once I get me seat and rear sets on I'm gonna see how well passenger pegs work right on the frame like yours.

Definitely interesting. I'm following along. I've been thinking about rearsets....but my girl wants to ride around the city with me on occasion, which means the passenger pegs are staying.
