Hey guys just picked up a whole ton of parts from DDC, two of them being shorty emgo mufflers what can I expect to adjust carb wise? Btw running stock carbs, intake, and mufflers as off right now runs a bit on the rich side.

From what I read, and hopefully CrazyPJ will chime in, but the Cb360 doesn't need to be rejet (typically) with just an exhaust modification assuming the length is good enough. I just went to a MAC 2-1 on my '76 CB360 and it runs better now than it did with the stock pipes. That said, the shorty pipes may not be quite long enough to give a good exhaust run. IIRC, PJ usually states that the end of the exhausts should come close to the passenger pegs at a minimum. Hope this helps.

Thanks Man! So, no re-jetting needed because you kept the o.e.m. air filters and boxes, NICE!!! I think I'm joining you!

I installed the 12 inch shorties on my CB400, but kept the crossover box. The muffles end at the rear pegs. They seem to work fine with stock jetting.

It would be a good idea to get a couple of pieces of exhaust tube and extend pipes
something like this, probably about $5.00 each
