Dead batterey

This may sound like a silly question, but is it possible to jump a cb750 with a car? I've tried searching the forum but nothing came up. Thanks all!

Yep you can. I wouldn't have the car running or anything like that, and just connect for as long as you need to.

assume you dont have a kicker then? best bet buy a booster box with adjustable amps.

I do have a kickstart and I've been using that. But the battery remains dead. Does that mean my battery is totally dead? or will a jump revive it?

Pull the battery and take it into a battery shop... they can test it to see if it is still viable. If the battery has been left in the bike over winters and frozen and not been on a trickle charger it can fail in a matter of a couple of winters depending on temps.

I rencently 'bought' (quotes explained in another thread) a great battery charger at CT... 2-12-75 volt settings for trickle charge , full charge and jump start... handy to have with 2 cars, 3 bikes and a boat battery to worry about ;D
