Whoohooo December was quite the BOTM contest! Here is your worthy choice - it was close, but The Repsol came out on top this time around and closes out 2010 as our 12th BOTM winner. 2010 was a huge year for DO THE TON, with thousands of new members joining, affiliation with Cafe Racer TV, friends starting new businesses... wow!
Here's the writeup!

Here is a link to my bikes build, I call it "The Repsol",
http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=15139.0
Garage built, home brewed, CB500T
Rebuilt engine
Full elec.ign.
upgraded coils.
cdi.
hotter plugs
open exhaust
upgraded suspension
stretched swing arm
chopped/rebraced rear frame.
etc
I started out with a mix of many ideas influenced by many builders and friends.
The end result was this, much unintentionaly as alot of what I did evolved as the bike progressed, the only thing I was sure of since the start was that I wanted sporty, low and sleek, with a somewhat minimilistic look, then after everything with the help of Brandon and Micah, the team honda repsol themed paint job was chosen, and I ended up with this, what I call a vintage interpretation of the Honda repsol race bike.
