HAve you done a frog yet? A big ol' bullfrog would be neat.
It'd fit with the Florida theme you have rolling in some of these too. Shit man, I wish I'd found this thread months ago. I just read through from the beginning. Absolutely amazing stuff. I'll be watching till the end for sure.

No bullfrog yet. They are evil beasts though. Ever look into those things? They are like a pit bull mixed with a dump truck. They eat and kill whatever they want, including other bullfrogs! Jeremiah hasn't reared his ugly head yet though.

this is also pretty relevant, the deck I drew up is about to be released in limited numbers (scroll down 2/3 of the page to see the actual deck)

Pawn that skate deck kicks ass man! I have not skated in 20 years and never really was a skater, but I want that deck just as wall art! I am really considering ordering one, do you get any of the royalties or anything like that?

I've been trying to think of what they reminded me of.. Back when I skated I had a couple Toy Machine decks. The art style is really close to them.
Keep it up man. These things are badass

tWisted, no I don't get any royalties. It was a barter deal I made for a friend. I get some free schwag from them though. There is some other boards to be made possibly. This set is already more than half sold out within 2 days of it's release already. The old school shaped boards are completely sold out, the new school shapes are what remains.

Walkin: I don't see the resemblance with Ed Templeton's artwork, but I dig his stuff so I take it as a compliment!

Yea I guess I worded that poorly :( I just meant the feel of the art was similar to some of his stuff. On another note, have you done any work on leather? After seeing the helmet you did I think it'd be badass to have the back of a jacket done. If you think you could do it, let me know. I'm only about 5 hours ride from you.

I know you're busy as hell so I don't mean tomorrow or anything, but eventually I'd like to leave something with you and let you loose on it. ;D

No worries, I think I get it. You mean a simple aesthetic done with a purpose in mind, not in a conventional manner I am guessing. At least that's how I feel about Ed's art. I really dig his stuff, and have bought a few riders from Toy Machine in the past.

For the leather, I have done a pair of boots about 6-7 years ago for a singer in Los Angeles. The problem is the work is back braking since I can't put my hand down on the surface after a while to avoid smears and it's not very permanent. I mean it is permanent, but it is fragile. Currently though, I'm pretty booked up with work, the Daily D's, raising another baby, and freelancing for a few companies. My wife isn't working and this one income thing sucks, so I'm pretty full up unfortunately. Hopefully my wife gets a job she will be interviewing for soon, so I can quit a few of the side gigs and get back to doing some one off stuff. I'll let you know then.
