Did I fry out the bike!? Assembled photos...

Been Around the Block
So I've been waiting for my mikuni carbs to show up, I thought I'd clean up the tail end a little bit. The KZ400 came with the factory tail light and two cool rear running lights. I thought I'd dump the tailight and just use the running lights for the summer.
So I disconnected the tailight, and the running lights still worked great so I wired them up and put them on wear the turn signals used to be. Power was good when I was testing it during the whole time.
I hook it up, a fraction of a second they powered up, then nothing, then nothing at all for the whole bike, no gauge lights, power to the starter, nothing!!! Did I fry something out!? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm very sorry if you've already done this...have you checked to see if your main fuse is blown?

Also, where you've plugged the indicator wires into what I sure hope is the brake signal positive wire, you have left part of the bullet connector exposed. This probably shorted to ground, and will do so again if you don't cover it up.

did something smelled burned? i would first start by cheking all the fuses, if they are good with a meter i would meassure the battery to see if its good or shorted

Thanks! Main fuse was blown! There was even a spare stored with the fuze holder. I'm about as green as it gets so things you guys take for granted are pretty alien too me. This bike is going to be a huge learning process but I'm lookin foward to it.

Aint that the truth! ;D It's actually what I did this weekend.

The important thing to remember about electronics is that it all runs on magical gray smoke. If the smoke escapes, the electronics stop working.
