Digital tach for 180 phase engine

Hi guys, im currently gathering parts for my xs500e, it is a 180 phase engine twin, the ratio for the factory is 3.038:1 wich is imposible to find unless stock, and i found a few tachs i like, but this brings my next questions, is it possible to atach a electricl/digital tach
With points system in a 180 firing twin engine? How would it be done?

Most inductive tachs can be set from 1 to 4 or 8 pulses per revolution. You need 2/360 degrees. Have you looked at the TrailTech Vapor?

Yea i've seen people use it in some builds, but im looking for a round one, mire traditional looking kind of tach, like the mini ones, dime city has one but im not sure how it would be hooked up

Looks like a signal from the coil,then set proper pulses.

So it should work with the xs?

You need to check on signal options on that tach.It is lacking any real technical info,just sales jargon.
