Been Around the Block
Im starting a new thread for these as they have kind of gotten mixed in with my CB350 thread. The Intent of these is for the end user to fabricate his own mounts for their specific bike. They can be Mid's, forwards, or Rear sets. Ive seen them done up all ways. There are some nice pics of them mounted up in my 350 thread, and on Ringo's build thread for his Awesome CB550.

All kits now come with
(2) Folding foot pegs
(2) Offset Levers
(2) Toe pegs

Linkage Kit
(2) 12" long stainless threaded rod
(4) Rod ends
(4) Jam nuts
(4) Rod bolts and nuts

Price is $133 shipped US.

Any kind of link on 'how to fab up mounts" ?
Keep in mind most peeps dont have a bunch of fabbing tools.

BTW great looking stuff

I think these are a great idea... If a "peep" cant make a bracket, then he/she should look else where and spend more money.

All this talk about "peeps" is making me wish it was easter already.
On a serious note though, I need to make some rear mounts for my xs650. I'm going to be mounting them to the passenger pegs and getting rid of the rider pegs all together. So I might be very interested in a pair of these. I'd like to see dimensions though. Length of the pegs, toe pegs, arm lengths etc etc

Do the levers pivot on a bushing pressed into them, or a needle bearing?

edit - oh shit, the picture gets bigger if you click it... looks like bronze bushings.

All you need for a mount is a nice piec of steel really...to weld to the frame somwhere. Thats the best i can tell you on that note. However, Lots of guys use their passenger peg hole directly.

Nicholaslee.... I make a complete kit for XS650's if your looking for something like that. It mounts to the factory peg mount studs, and moves the lever back about 2 inches from the top stud. http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=21877.50

ANd yes..Its a replaceable bronze bushing, pressed into the lever, and the nose of the peg hinge is a slip fit to pivot.

I dont have a kickstarter, It will be going on a 19885 bmw r80rt. I want to use the non-folding pegs for when the bike goes on the ground. It will be less damage to the bike.

I was planning on getting some made in the next couple weeks. A few others have asked recently. Ill keep you posted.

I have got to get some of these. I have some right not but when they crap out, they will. I dropped my bike slighty during mockup and it bent the ones I bought pretty bad. They are light weight but for a reason. I love the looks of these things, I hope they stay around awhile(6 monthsish) Great work.

I've had my non-folding ones on since spring and love them. Apparently, so do plenty of other people, cause they all keep asking me where I bought them. I've done my best to direct them your way, D, so hopefully, you've seen some extra business from these people. Only thing I have noticed with my set is that the knurling on the pegs have worn on top, to the point that they are now smoothe and shiney, there. Other than that, not one issue with them. Money well spent.

Thanks for the Kind regards, and im glad your using the $hit out of them. Thanks for sending others my direction. Its appreciated.

Just a thought. Are the fold-ups directly interchangeable with the rigid ones? Just curious if I can "upgrade" my set from the original, rigid ones to folding pegs, simply by changing out the pegs. If so, how much for a set of foling pegs?

I might be in for a set (maybe 2) of these! Looks great. Do you have any pics of them installed on anything?
