DIY Rearsets......

What did you put yours on? I cant remember.

77 XL100 frame with a 125 motor. The spindle is smaller (13mm) and will need an arm meant for smaller bikes. On my build thread, there are a couple shots of the right side that shows the interference. The brake pedal is basically right there!

If the brake pedal had a folding end, it might clear.

My '75 CB200T has been bugging me for one of your rearsets kits. PM me with an invoice with shipping to 44056.

Thanks!!!

Just putting a shout out to Durgam_K. I've used three sets, and I love them.
Solid pigs will clear on the 450 but its really close.

cb350 you have to use the folding pegs to clear the kickstart.

What could i do to make it more user friendly??? For the 450's

It looks like its close to the shocks and swingarm...
maybe a small spacer off the lever to get it away from the bike parts.

Durgam, I'm interested in a folding set to use on my CB750. Do you have them available at this time? And would it be possible to get just a pair of folding pegs also, to use as matching passenger pegs? How much?

Thanks.

I am out of toes pegs for another week or two. But I will have them. As far as a second pair of folding pegs goes, they are the most expensive part of all my Kits, because I have them made by an outside machine shop. So I pay a ton for them. They will be an additional $85. I know that may sound like a lot, when my folding kit is $142, but the pegs are the most expensive components of the kit.

Thanks for supplying us with these Durgam. I love seeing people like you identifying a niche market with an unmet demand and riding in to save the day while making a little profit.

And speaking of profit, I've got my credit card all warmed up if there's any way that you plan on making a set of non-folding rearsets for a '78 CB750k with the bent rod and some solution so that I don't need to remove my kick start. Pleeeaasee?

I understand completely. But that's outside my budget at this time. I guess my wifes feet will have to suffer through not being as stylishly supported as mine :)

I'm in for a set of folders as soon as you're ready. You want me to check back in a week? You let me know when they're ready? Whatever is easiest/convenient for you is cool with me ;)

Durgam, just replied to an older pm I got back from you on a non folding set of your rearsets...i'm ready to send payment

A 1/2 - 1 inch spacer would have been perfect to clear the swing are bolt. but most of my issues were from the exhaust and the muffler strap mounts. once i got it figured out they worked perfectly. It was just a really tight fit. With a different exhaust (2-into1) there wouldn't have been a problem

Whats the time frame on a set for the cb450? Also do you know if you can use the solid peg sets on the 450 without any issues. Thanks

Its looking like the week of the 23rd for a set of solids. And according to Shortround, and his constant stream of sweet cafe's, the solids will work on a CB450.
I think most of the clearance issues on these bikes, is getting a kicker with some kind of offset, or built in angle. Its the bikes with a straight arm kicker that give the most issues. Take a look at some of the pics in shortrounds post, here in this thread, from previous pages.

PM sent to Dezmo

Do you know if these will work with the passenger peg mounts on a 1976 CB550 with Carpy's 4-1 exhaust? If so you can count me in for a set!

The reason I ask is I just ordered Carpy's exhaust a few days ago before I spotted these, so I have no way of checking on clearance at this point...
