Do you google+ ?

I want to give it a try, I tried the link, but it logs me into my gmail account. Do I give you my email address?

The whole circle concept is far more appealing to me. That way I can post relevant stuff to relevant groups of people. Not to mention the whole privacy thing.

I'm on Google + too. Can't set up a DO THE TON group I don't think but maybe I can set up a DO THE TON user on G+ by inviting 'myself' and setting up a user for the site.

John Connor seems to think so.

But where will Google stop with thinking up new ways to serve up adverts. That reminds me, has anyone seen any recent studies of the effectiveness of Google adverts for advertisers? The money they are making off advertising is significant.

Sure its a free product, :p

But at the end Googles products are the best package you can have hands down... period.

Android, google map, Chrome, Picasa and now google+... I'm diging it... really I'm in IT for about 7 years now and Google is THE best. Ok for sure you have to give them something back, like having advertising, but thats a small price to pay for such good products (2 cents)

Add me guys :) laportejonathan@gmail.com

are you the "I'm cooler than you" guy?

It will be interesting to see how much impact Google + has on FB and on its valuation. Interestingly, both have a business model based on advertising revenue. Will revenue continue to climb to support those crazy valuations, or will the market reach saturation soon in terms of revenues and at that time do the valuations drop through the floor or what happens next? It will be interesting to see.

Joe Virus, how much better or worse is G+ than FB in terms of giving away personal data etc? I haven't read enough independent reviews to form an opinion.
