Does anyone make an electronic tach. 6vt. ? CB125

I've got a 1981 Honda CB125S,the first yr. for CDi ign. but it's still a 6vt. system.I'd like to get an electronic tach. for it and wondered if anyone makes a 6vt. meter ? round analog readout ?

Expensive but may give you an idea - Scitsu do a Tacho with internal battery or small external battery pack that uses an inductive pickup to the spark plug lead. I would imagine that any tacho that uses an inductive lead could also be set up to use a small LiPo pack to power it - if a 6v system isn't available that is.

Will it have analog read-out?

Not at first. Digital is a lot easier to control.

I haven't messed with stepper motors for a while and there would be a learning curve for me.

I'd like to even use a 6 vt. 'anything' tach. at this point.. glad you're building a tachometer.
