Does this seat look too long?

Realizing beauty's in the eye of the beholder I'd appreciate an objective opinion. . . is this seat too long for my 350F?

Thinking I might cut it down and glass it a little shorter, then again, I could leave it alone and carry a few beers in that tail section. Thanks.

Yes, way out of proportion. You can pack a picnic lunch in that hump.

when did you get that puppy? I think I stopped selling them because I accidentally tossed the mold almost a year ago... in any case, I think it might look big on that bike, but what would make it look cool would be to trim the back 1/3 off and shape it out so it flows with the tank

I'd cut so it is equal to the center of the rear wheel. If I had an extra seat I'd trade ya. I could use that on my other XS1100.

Thanks for the very humorous sanity check. Seat was bought quite a while back for that CB750 you sort of see in the background. Forgot that it had come from Rock City. I used it to pattern a small base I welded up for the 350F. Plan was to use it as a plug and glass up a more proportionate version for the smaller bike. Headed that way now. Thanks again for the feedback and the laughs.
