DOHC Clutch stack order...

Ugh, somehow while trying to rebuild the clutch on our 80' CB750 k we managed to get the order of the clutch disks mixed up.

We ordered new plates and disks, the plates were the wrong ones. In the process of waiting for replacements we got the riveted plate out of order -now we are not sure if it's the second disk in the stack (from the outer most), or?

Our riveted plate which makes two disks, is in great shape we just aren't sure if we have the stack order correct.

Anyone know if it's the second or third disk?

Thanks in advance,

look at some online like bikebandit.com

Well I appreciate the link and the effort, but no joy for showing what I need to see. Page wouldn't load for us. We searched pretty hard before posting, kind of embarrassing that we couldn't keep track of what goes where!

Thanks for trying!

I gave you a link to a page that wouldn't load but that doesn't mean you can't go there and start a search

starting from the inside
disk b
plate
disk a
plate b
disk a
plate
disk a
plate... you get the idea

We did just that... In a fish view we found it was the middle most plate. Little more searching and we found the explanation and why Honda added it. So in our case since we had 7 steel plates this double riveted one went in the center.

Thanks for the help!
