I think the guy is getting a kick out of all the "internet attention" he is now getting. From some of the responses posted it looks like he's enjoying replying to you guys and puts a little effort into coming up with something to say.

I asked him why he was raising the price based on the number of watchers and this is his response:
iT IS MY ADVERT, I CAN DO WHAT I WANT. DO YOU COMPLAIN WHEN GAS COMPANIES RAISE THEIR PRICES FOR NO REASON?
I AM NOT BREACHING ANY POLICIES OF EBAY, SO I WILL DO WHAT I WANT.
