Well here it goes.

This will be my first build thread , so bear with me and my crappy photos. Ok, a little about me and my bike. I live in northern Ohio about 30 minutes West of Cleveland. I have been lurking around this site for some time now, enjoying all the awesome bulids and ideas. Picked up the bike around this time last year but wasn't able to dig into it very much until March 2012 ( was kinda in the middle of changing houses and i didnt want to lose parts ).

A little about the bike. 1973 Honda CB750 SOHC with 19,xxx on the clock. The bike ran good before i tore into could have used a little tune up but that will be accomplished throughout the build. The build is going alot slower then i would like it to be , but it is what it is. I dont have the bike built 100% in my head or on paper, just ideas and doing as i go kinda thing.

I would really appreciate ideas or input from you guys/gals. I like to think of it as a budget build for the most part.

Still have work left to do on the top of the triple , i will be triming the tach and speedo area down some and go with diffrent gauges.

More pictures since everyone loves them.

Sorry for the picture quality , only have my iphone to work with at this moment.

You got it .
The seat was just too good of a fit for the build I'm doing. I couldn't pass it up, still making my own seat out of scratch but will see Which one I'm going to run as it gets closer to the end of the Build.

I like the exhaust bud, looks very raw an purposeful ;) awesome :)

Cheers Wayne :)

Same thing I was thinking when I first got it, but I ended up painting it with exhaust paint so I didn't have to worry or mess with the rusting issue

Oh ok, sorry I thought it was stainless

It's a nice bore size tho ;), still aggressive looking :)

Cheers Wayne :)

So i started to dig into the front wheel , this thing has seen better days.
I will be replacing the wheel bearings so far , as far as the spokes and niples , they seem good to the naked eye. the wheel was surprisingly True so i dont see a problem with the spokes or wheel .Just need to polish them up.

I didnt get to many pictures before i started to sand. But you can see a little amount of the pits and gouges i was dealing with ( You guys know what a pain they are ).
This is after a couple minutes of sanding with 80 Grit  . lol I know 80 grit only used to get the super ruff knocked down. Light presure ( cant rush perfection )
