So after all the wet sanding on my home made sanding drill haha , and all the polishing on my bench polisher this is what came out.

Im going to hit it once more with 1000 grit to get the few little hair line scratches out.

Dom - Looks like you've got a nice shop to work in. Interesting build so far. :) I'm in.

Thanks-Wangofree
All work is done in my garage except the spray booth which was at work. Im only 23 , but ive been wrenching since i was 13 and i lived by the Motto ( you can never have to many tools ). To sum it up , ive had a tool truck account since i was about 16 :'( .

Man, I can't get over what difference you've made with those hubs!! I thought I was done polishing mine, but I can tell I'm only half way done. Great job Dom. 8)

Im looking forward to this build for sure. Wheels, other than wheel bearing I didnt mess with on my cb750.

Also let me just say that I want your garage! holy crap! I feel like Id be able to do some many activities.

It's definitely nice having all this workspace in my shop. Before this place , I worked under a carport or out of a messy single car garage. Definitely taking advantage of the space now.

Dom, nice work and I like your "lathe". Creative thinking.

Ditch your tool truck account (and its high interest and high retail prices) and stay out of debt. Buy high quality used tools with cash instead. If really need to spend money, buy stock in Snap On or Matco instead of their tools, you will make more than swinging wrenches in the long run.

That's my plan for 2013. I'm going to finish paying off my tool bill with part of my tax return, since I got the tool bill down below 500 finally ( took some time). My work offered me a simple IRA plan which is better than nothing for now. It's a small business only employees four people so that's probably as far as my boss is going to go with that kind of stuff. I will most definitely look into the tool truck stocks though.

It's been awhile since I've updated everyone. I've been working 55 plus hours a week at work and haven't touched the bike for a long time . It will be on the pavement by next spring . Got the wheels powder coated , engine painted , spokes polished .

Had to put the thinking cap on. Seems to work for the most part.

Looking good, curious to see where it goes. I'm subscribed.

Thanks snowman.

For the most part I have it built in my head now. But there's always the chance of changing things on the fly.
