hey all,

I just wanted to let you know that DrJ crashed up his BlackBird yesterday.
He seriously busted up his right leg and is at St.Joseph's hospital, all doped up on Mophine...

Id like to say that it happened while he was filming a crazy 150mph motorcycle wheelie then endo stunt for the new Mission Impossible 5 movie thats being filmed here in TO, but thats not the case... I dont know all the details but I what I was told, is that no one gets to call dibs on any of his helmets in his collection!!...so he's doing well and will hopefully be out soon.

If anyone wants to call, he's at: 416 530-6000 ext 2048. If anyone wants to stop by and visit to razz him a bit, he's at St. Joseph's hospital on the QueensWay in room 3m-18.

Although, I heard from Equus, that you want to visit, good luck trying to get in.. apparently 15-20 his female "friends" from the Pan-Asian Bikini team are there from 11am-9pm catering to his every need!!... ;D

I'll try to stop by tomorrow to see how he's doing...

That really sucks man :( I know i dont know him but i hate to see anyone get messed up on their bike, and his poor bike to boot. He prolly wont know who i am but tell him to get well and im sorry to hear it. And with that bikini team around, he wont need that leg for a bit, you can prop him up on his center stand...hehe

Apparently they take turns giving him sponge baths!!.. LOL!!...Geezzzz!!!
 
Hope DrJ has a speedy and successful recovery.

I saw the perfect bike for me when I get injured/old - whichever comes first - at Snow City yesterday. They had three of them and were moving them around the parking lot. Gotta get a test ride/drive in soon.

PLease.. that thing looks so STUPID!!!... I wouldnt get caught riding on that thing!!... ITs a backwards trike...
 
I think you'd like them in person - a little rattlecan, some parts falling off, some useless chrome bits bolted onto the headlights (did I say that?), clipons....

anyword on any surgeries he may have had? curious, cuz i stayed there too after my bike crash, we may have had the same orthopedic surgeon. he's in good hands at st. joes...
 
ya they real good there they pieced me back together after my accident back in 89, k my bike had peddles back then but when a car t-bones you at 60kph tossing you over hood, roof, trunk and into pavement head first the injurys are the same.
