so we decided to wrap the pipes for now...


will replace the wire with some sprayed black union clips... of similar...


i'm sure we'll unwrap em and paint em up later... ,. but for now i kinda like the look... and into a EU marked Marving muffler.. so the bike can pass the ITV (MOT(DOT) tests...

Rad bike Milky. I would've been the guy building the elephant tank version if I could have found a DR600 here. I'm building a DR500 into a poor man's ADV bike at the moment myself and there are a lot of similarities looking at your pics. Never would've imagined you could make one look like you did. I really dig it man, keep on keepin on!

Rad bike Milky. I would've been the guy building the elephant tank version if I could have found a DR600 here. I'm building a DR500 into a poor man's ADV bike at the moment myself and there are a lot of similarities looking at your pics. Never would've imagined you could make one look like you did. Thanks mate... i was real lucky with the engine. They guy i got the bike from had done a great jib overhaulin it. The tank is a TS 175 and only holds about 6 litres... so no adventure runs for me. But y'know i'm a hipster (cos i got pipe wrap) so i"ll jusy be hoppin down to the organic craft brewed coffee shop for a vanilla capa latte bullshit...

Thanks man! Should be a great camping/dirt trail exploring bike when she's done.

Don't let the riff raff keep ya down, it's your bike and if you end up not liking what you've done, you've got the skills to change it. With as light and nimble as it looks, I'd venture to say your DR is gonna be a riot to ride!
