If you can, do.

It looks a bit like a Morris 'J' van, the type used for military purposes (and milk delivery) mid- last century.

Anyone else have some sueful details?

I'd also kill for an old Divco:

That's what I drove to high school! And it was only 12 ;D years old.

I wouldn't say it is my "dream" hauler but it would be badass. My dad and uncle have had over 14 different corvairs from family cars to caged/built racecars. My dad sold his last one when I was about 5 years old. I can remember the day that I saw the for sale sign in the window. I thought it was the end of the world, I was so upset.

Anyway, the Corvair rampsides are pretty cool looking and totally useful, IMO.

Love the color and looks of this one!

Oh hell yeah PJ. Back when I was into rock crawlers hardcore, I knew a guy that had converted one into a truck/sleeper cab. It had room on the back to fit his crawler and the rest was set up like an RV. It had pull out ramps in the back and everything. Badass.

I saw one of these on a farm. They had like 10 people in the bus and they have a small tractor on the back. Pretty practical if you ask me.

We use those down south during cotton season. Farmers and gins buy old school buses at auction, make them convertibles and load cotton on them for cheap hauling to the gin. Like this: http://www.funnychill.com/files/funny-pictures/convertible-bus.jpg

WE HAVE TWO OF EM WE ARE MAKING INTO ONE ON AN OLDER DODGE DUALLY CHASSIS, AND ITS GONNA BE MOMS BAGGED ICE CREAM WAGON SHE SELLS ICE CREAM AT THE CAR SHOWS!

i cant remember if it was here or another site, but a guy had a scion xb, removed the back seats and passenger seat, and added tiedown mounts in the floor and hauled his bike in it, basically with his front end of his bike as his co-pilot.

it was pretty sweet.

Well, neither are exactly "Dream Haulers", but this little '92 B2200 was my hauler for the last couple of years. It's rusted and worn but it did the job!

Here it is loaded last year.

Now, I've aquired a '98 F-150, reg. cab, short box, 4.2L 6 cyl., 5 speed 2 wheel drive to haul around my stuff. We added a Ground Force kit to level and lower it some and I've got a few more simple mods in store for it!

I can't wait to git er loaded! Haha!

I love having a truck! It's so handy! :D

Theres some pretty sweet dream haulers on this thread. Regretfully my world is real so my hauler is a 30 year old RV. But in its defence it only cost $3000, has hauled the Norton to Bonneville twice, three seasons of El Mirage and a lot of other trips, and its going to Bonneville (and a season of El Mirage) again this year. The total repairs to it have been front wheel bearings (Bonneville salt).

I go back and forth though on whether or not to sell the Ranchero off. It's cool and all, but man it takes up a lot of room, and it's a hell of a pain to push around the garage.

you got it with the wheels! i love the wide and low stance on vans. i would also have a full tool kit in there, with the trays magnetized so when you rip about the tools dont move around inside ;D

this is sexy.

I leared to drive in a 75 GMC Vandura 1/2 ton pannel van.
And back in the late 80s I had a built smallblock with a turbo 400 revers valve body manuel shift trany.
I use to eat up the 5.0s all the time and had a top speed of a little over 145mph it was a blast to drive.
Wish I can get another one.

Dude! I love that Ranchero. I take it that it doesn't run? What year is it?
