Well after many weeks of burning up the Internet for the elusive H2 motor I think we have success. ;D
Word is it's a runner and in Ohio.....so we're hoping to hook up with the owner to avoid shipping.
Crossing our fingers....we're expecting pictures of the engine in the next few days. 8)

Careful with the CB750 slurs, I'm now motivated to get the CR project moving just to bitch slap you Kawi hotheads....er...might have a few issues with weight, handling etc. I think your idea of laying down the dampers is a really cool move, should compensate for the extra length of the new shocks as well as the higher spring rate. As long as the shock angle isn't to great you should have no binding and you'll have a nice smooth progressive wheel travel.

I believe the Youngstown area....I was looking through Craigslist and found a listing that indicated H2 stuff for sale and asked if he had any engines. It took about a month but he finally responded. I guess he does a fair bit of travelling on business, so he's out a lot but he's got a couple of complete H2's and two engines. I'll post the pic's when he sends them....I'd like to get this done ASAP so we can start putting all the pieces together.

Is he selling those H2's? or just the parts?

He's talking about selling complete bikes, engines, all kinds of parts. But so far it's just talk....he's apparently got some family business keeping him out of town. Until that is done he'll be pretty busy and not in a position to get his act together. He's advised that he'll contact me when he's finished with his issues. He sounds sincere, but we're looking into other options as we want to get on with this build.
I'll definitely pass the word when/if he finally starts selling.

Well if you get in touch with him and he is willing to sell a complete H2. if you don't mind letting me know, an engineer and I are in the market for one! He just sold his H1 because he couldn't pass up what the guy offered him, he has been wanting it for a long time and so he finally gave my guy an offer he couldn't refuse. So that money is going towards an upgrade. He really wants a TZ750 but seeing as those aren't easy to come by....

Well, finally looks like some more h2 engine parts are headed my way. Should be on my doorstep this Friday. Not a complete engine, but combined with what we already have, we could have something to play with soon. :D

Seaglider is still on the prowl for the "Black Bomber" from Ohio, so that may still be the better answer to start with. ;)

You guys know what's gonna happen right? After the "h2 drought of 2013", we're gonna have h2 bits raining down all over us here!! :eek: Probably won't be able to afford it all, but we'll grab all we can! ;D
