I've purchased this taillight on Ebay thinking it would fit nicely to replace the stock CB550 tail light. Unfortunatelly there is no way I can mount it without modifying the fender, which I don't want to do, So before I send it back to seller and loose money on shipping, I thought I'd check if any of you guys could use it. It will fit nicely under any modded seat or chopped fender.
I've already lost money on it so first $35 takes it.

I was going to get this same light! You don't have to modify the fender, you can just drill holes on the bracket and just bolt it where the stock rear light was.

Is this $35 plus shipping? That's really close the price that the seller is asking.

yeah man, although i dig it, and am considering it.. GOODFORNOTHING has a point.. if you drill a hole between the license plate holes you can mount the whole assembly ON the fender..

they look great!

Yah, they could be mounted on the stock fender, but I don't think I'd like will how they look from the side and back since there is no housing to cover the back part of the light. This is more of what I was looking for:

I'm going to ship them back on Monday, so if anyone is keen to get them let me know! I can bring them on next Thursday's meet or ship.
