Been Around the Block
Okay guys i basically have this bike a 81 kz1000k that i bought a while back and to be honest after i bought it i kind of fell off on doing anything to it besides ride it when i got the chance. The reason being is i started a new job and had to move 130miles from where it is being stored at.

I have been trying to get back to it and i figure if i could finds come inspiration for myself it could really kick start me again. The biggest and hardest thing i have had going on my head is trying to do dual scramble style exhuast on it kind of like this triumph. obviously they don't come out on both sides but i like them for the inspiration for what i want.

Or possibly a 4-4 scrambler style pipe like this. Unfortunately i spent 3hrs trying to PS the pipes onto my bike but i can't seem to get it right. I've been trying to figure out if i did a 4-2 out eachside would i need to figure out a cross over pipe from each side for pressure equalization or if with the 4-4 it would the better option to have to cutout the cross over pipe (if needed) to simplfy the process of building a custom scrambler style exhaust for a KZ1000.

Maybe I'm nuts but i would love some input from you guys.

also maybe someone with some mad photo shop skills could help me with what i was trying to do also, lol.

Sounds like a cool project! 8)

If you go 4 into 2, you'll want to do a crossover design like the old Hooker or Jardine 4 into 2's. I took a quick look but couldn't find any pics.

4 into 4 is probably easier, but I like the 4 into 2 style! :D
