Ducati 900ss

Just in case anyone's remotely interested. I bought this 900ss last year, with the intention of getting it looking as close as I can to a Baines Racing Imola.

I bought a 500 Pantah the same as your avatar in '81, loved that bike. I've been looking for another for a couple years now but they are rare here (I'm assuming from the plate you're in GB or Europe). I'd be interested should you run across a good one.

This project could still turn out to be a very expensive mistake. The main issues are the rear sub frame, and the tank. I've used a local company many times, and have always done a cracking job when making bespoke tanks, so I've entrusted the job of sorting out this one. These two jobs are far from finished, but so far so good.

Sorry Brent I somehow managed to miss your post. Yep in the UK. I got hold of another Pantah project 18 months ago. I had intended to try a TT2 replica, but after putting it back together, and running, had an offer that I couldn't refuse. So it never got finished. If I see anything I'll pm you.

More boring stuff. Seems like I've spent a month of Sundays trying to source a few parts.
Front/rear mudguards, Conti replica exhaust, chrome headlight, rear light.

Spent a few hours this afternoon cleaning/straightening this CM400 rearlight. It should do the job, after the light lens is replaced.

Finally got the tank back yesterday, there's a few issues to sort out, but overall very pleased.

Hopefully got the fuel leaks sorted. Refitted the fuel line elbows with Loctite 2400, all seems good.
With any luck, the frame will be off to the powder coaters next week.
