Ducati no power

Hey guys, so my brother in law went to leave my gouse last night and when he turned his key on nothing no power at all. (99 ducati m750 dark) battery checked out with a good 12.45 volts so I feel safe that's not the problem master fuse has 12v on both post with the key off or on but nothing on the other fuses. The ignition switch has been kinda tough to turn on so I checked continuity on the switch side of the plug. Keep in mind the switch side has 6 post on the plug and the harness side only has 4 post. I only checked the wires on the switch side that didn't lead to a dead end. With my multimeters red lead on the heavier guage red wire I checked continuity on the three post with the switch off I didn't get anything which I'm sure is good. With the key on I checked again there's a orange/blue wire that does have continuity. There's 3 or 4 yellow wire that all run to one post they had nothing and the other post had nothing. Also the key when I moved it to the on position it just didn't feel right I don't know maybe it's just me but regardless could this be the problem or are there other things I should check first. Also the other day it was poping the turn signal/taillight fuse don't know it that's relevant

Sounds like a bad switch to me.
Power goes from the battery through the main fuse, through the ignition switch and then to the secondary fuses. So if you have power at the ignition switch it seems likely it's the culprit.

Get a wiring diagram and see what should be hot when you turn the key on and test to see if it is.
