Dude next door just sold a 79 GS550 for $200 running. Damnit.

Fear My Twin

Chicks hate my bike.
I saw the bike outside for a few days with a for sale sign on it. Hes such a cheap skate I figured he wanted too much money. Some kid came today to pick it up and I asked him how much he bought it for. $200 because the lights didnt work. Turned out to be a fuse ::)

I would have walked over to look at it days ago but I've been buying up all the stocks I possibly can whilst the market is nose diving :)

Buy low............

Sell high...........

Its common sense to me.

Dang. A running bike for $200? I just got snaked on a non-running '69 CB350 with a spare engine for $200 and I thought THAT was a deal.

yep - always ask. I saw a CB750F advertised with a Rickman fairing and an ATP Turbo kit installed. I contacted the seller out of curiousity, and ended up buying the bike for $500 delivered to my home.

Sold the Rickman for $180
Sold the ATP Turbo for $1500
Sold the Tank/Seat/Sidecovers for $300

Then I sold the bike for $500, which was still a reasonable deal for the lucky buyer!

Made enough money on that one to cover my wife's 2001 Vino.

LOL, quite a deal there Tim. Didn't you feel at all guilty ;D ;D

Not a bit - Noel bought the bike ;) The seller trailered the bike about an hour to my house. I bought it unseen - just photos.
