Dunstall replica on SR250

I got Dunstall replica muffler from DCC and installed it on SR250. Everything is ok but it is loud and with that police might not like it. Inside I have found really thin layer of wool around perforated tube. How can I make it more subtle? Some kind of baffle? Baffle has to be fitted onto end of muffler or I can put it somewhere in the middle (e.g. part where muffler is sliped on).
Will thicker layer of wool around perforated tube make it quieter?

Cheers!

Ivan

yep, wrap a thicker layer round the internal tube, what most people use these days is 'muffler packing' which is usually easy to get from anywhere that sells MX bikes/accessories (which is probably most bike shops) MX bikes burn out their packing quicker than road bikes so its pretty easy to get, it even comes prepacked in a bag that you just wrap round the pipe and stuff back into the muffler

Hi. I was just wondering how you got on with the dunstall? Are you happy with the sound? Have you experienced an increase in power? And did you purchase the reverse cone or open mouth? Thanks :)
