I set the engine in the frame cradle so that I can start getting the measurements for the exhaust and the frame bars. I got this Yoshimura exhaust can from a friend and started sanding it today to get it ready for polishing.
I have a couple of different ideas for a header so I started building the first one to see what it would look like. This is just the tubing and I still need to weld the collars to the front and build a collector for the rear. I may add a bend two thirds of the way down as I feel it needs a little more shape.
I am also thinking about building another header designed with more bends and the pipes stacked at the end to see what it would look like. The header will not be red that is just the color of the tubing I am using.

Brother Joey. Glad to see so much progress here. This bike will be super sick. And yeah, you need four pipes exiting under the tail! Keep it up my south bama bro!

Brothers thank you for all of your input! I thought about four pipes exiting from the tail and that would look and sound tough! I may still go that route!
I love how nice and clean this header will look, my only issue with it is that when you look at it from the side it is kind of plain looking. Maybe I will bend the two middle tubes up and the two outer tubes down halfway back on the header and see if it will add a little shape to it. I will work on it some more and see what I can come up with!
This is not the angle that I am going to run the header at but it will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

if im picturing it correctly in my head im totaly digging the pipes bent up and the others down.
and hell if you start getting into it you can do all sorts of complicated cool looking stuff lol
