DWMS Racing KZ440 Brat Style Cafe Racer Build

Yes, I was very happy with the jetting and I normally like my vintage engines to be a little on the rich side. I will look at the build information and find the carburetor kit for you. We used the original cushions as they were in good condition. The front fork brace is the original brace that was in the front fender. The rims are the original rims that were on the bike, we painted them satin black. The owner of the bike purchased Metzeler Lasertec tires and sent them to me, KZ440 factory rims are not tubeless rims they are designed to be ran with tubes.

Thank you brother, I always try to make where the tank and seat or tail section meet look nice on all of the bikes that I build so it is very nice to hear that you appreciate the extra work I did to get a nice fit on this build. When I built the steel seat pan I made it to fit under the tank then mounted it on the frame and traced the rear shape of the fuel tank on to the seat pan so that the foam and seat cover could be made to fit. You can see the tunnel on the back of a lot of fuel tanks so on those I normally build a cover on the front of the tail sections I build like we did on the RD350

Wow! What attention to detail! For years I thought that these Kawa mag wheels were tubeless, and even my KZ440 LTD has a hard valve stem and tubeless tires at each end (carried over from the PO). All the discussions I can recall concerning tires have all been around tubeless (unless it was with the "B" model that had spoked wheels), so I checked with my Kawasaki Parts Manual and, sure enough, there were tubes as OEM.

I also like your seat-to-tank junctions!

With this quality, you could become the RYCA Motors (http://www.rycamotors.com/) of all the 1000's of '80s semi-cruiser Japanese bikes whos owners now want a more standard/café/tracker stance but cannot mod the frames themselves (like me).

These photos show the triple trees after I smoothed the top tree, painted them satin black and with the new Atach GPS speedometer on the new mount that I built!

Can you take some pics of that mount?
