Dyna 2.2 coils, elect ign, what wires?

Hoosier Daddy

Earache my eye...
Bike is the 81 Honda CB750C with the factory electronic ignition system. No points, basically a hall effects switched pickup. I got two Dyna 2.2 ohm coils, the DC4-1 gray ones. The stock coils are rated 2.8 ohms so I have been told it is not enough of a difference to cause an issue. I have actually read where these were recommended by a tech at Dyna for my same generation DOHC 750.
My question has to do with the secondary resistance. Both solid copper core (LINKY) and carbon core suppersion (LINKY) wires are listed on Dyna's and Z1 Enterpises' websight the only stipulation being
Dynatek "Dyna" Wires are available with a solid copper core for use on older
vehicles where electrical interference is not an issue. For use on new vehicles
with electronic advance ignitions or other sensitive electronic equipment use
DYNA suppression core wires with a high grade graphite core for best performance
and electrical noise suppression.
Ok... my on ignition the ADVANCE is not electronic... it has has a mechanical centrifugal advance with its stock electroninc pointless system.
I see the Dyna wires , no matter which type have standard style plug boots, not resistor caps like the NGK replacements offered elsewhere. Also I am not aware of a ballast resistor in my system.
Back in the old Auto Tech days, I remember they came out with the suppresion wires about the same time as HEI ignitions, but it was for radio noise... no tick-tick-tick in your speakers at stoplights that turned in to a whine at speed. For performance oriented engines we still used solid copper core Accel wires.. Hell, I am NOT running a radio! BUT should I go with the suppresion wire for any needed secondary side resistance I am not getting with the aftermaket plug boots not the factory resistor caps?
Does it matter which wires I choose at this point?

61 Views and no replies, either this was a darn good question or a really stupid one!
For future referance to others, after a bit of research I went with the suppresion wire. There is enough voltage in these coils to overcome any resistance they would have. The trip to the auto parts store summed it up as they had a single Accel 8mm replacement wire that was 60" long so I was able to make all 4 out of that one wire for $16

if you need a secondary resistance, run a resister spark plug. For those reading that don't know:NGK spark plug B8ES = non resister, BR8ES = resister plug

With an older bike the only time you may run into a problem with the electrical noise would be if you are trying to dyno the bike as it will interfere with the computer system. Some old bikes, I don't know about your bike specifically, but the Kawi triples (H2) can burn out components by running resistance in the ignition system.
