Evening all. I was wondering if anyone here has used Harbor Frights timing light successfully? I have set the static timing on my CB125 and the the spark goes at the "F" mark. I was wanting to set the dynamic timing but do not have the cash flow at the moment to purchase a good strobe. If anyone has used an HF before or has any other ideas I would love to hear about it.
Also, when checking my timing using a screwdriver with a bulb (spark plug out to make it easier to turn engine) when the points began to separate and I was turning the engine slowly a spark would jump the gap. This only happened when I was rotating it slow. The condenser is new so I figured it would not be a problem and have started the bike and had it hold at 1200rpm idle. Is this something I should be concerned about.
As always, cheers for the help.
