Eastwood's Diamond Clear Satin Anyone?

Been Around the Block
I'm looking ahead to rattle canning my bike when the weather warms up and dries out. I'd like to go with the bare metal look on my tank and fenders. Everything I read says just clear coating them won't seal out moisture and prevent rust. Also, that it doesn't stick well without paint. I don't want to be committed to just oiling the metal in case I get lazy or go to jail or something.

So, I've found a clear coat from Eastwood called Diamond Clear Satin. This stuff seams like the miracle I'm searching for. Sticks to metal. Prevents rust. Resists fuel. Snooping around DTT I saw a thread in Tanks & Seats where a guy painted his Honda with this product. http://tinyurl.com/25gajfs

Love this look! Has anyone else used this? How does it hold up? Any general advice for my project?

Sorry to revive this old topic but I was wondering the same thing... Ever figure anything out?
