EDIT: UN-Dibsters on 77 cb750 caliper on ebay

Re: Dibsters on 77 cb750 caliper on ebay

FYI...that does not look like a 77/78 front caliper.
The K7 & K8 front brake calipers are identical to the cb750 F1 & F1 calipers.

That looks like a caliper from an earlier cb750K.

doh your right! I was in a hurry and didn't pay that close of attention. I actually have a caliper but is has a frozen piston and pad in it that I can't get out for the life of me.

Is the brake pad stuck as well in the caliper? Or are you just having a hard time removing the piston from the caliper?

Have you tried hooking it to a spare Master Cylinder, ( I use a MC & lever from a modern sport bike), and pumping it?

Yup pad is stuck in as well, I have tried everything short of heating it up to expand it out. I had the MC on to pump it out with now luck, banged on it, air compressor, drilled the shit out of the pad, nothing. It is totally frozen in place.

Sounds like a lost cause. Throw the whole thing in a bath of penetrating oil, put it in the back corner of your shop and when you find it in a year or two, maybe it will free up ;)
