Hey all. I have a 76 CB360, im having electrical issues with. I just replaced the old battery with a new sealed battery. Now I am having issues with the electrical system. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the battery or if it is the stator and/or rectifier. I took the bike out on a ride and the battery died on it. So it is not getting re-charged by the system. While riding it before it died, it would ride fine one minute and then start giving pulse issues. It actually felt like it was an intake issue or something like that because it would lose power and torque and then kick back in. I pulled up to a stop light and the bike just turned off. No juice left in the battery at all. After towing back the voltage read at 2. So pretty dead. Would a wrong battery do this? Its a 12v, I just cant remember the cca's. If not the battery can anyone please help me with how to remove the stator?? I took the stator panel off, pulled it out but the wires seem to go into the wall and I see no plug. Any help is very appreciated!!!

Start with a fully charged battery and try this diagnostic flowhart for your charging system.
