Just wondering if anyone out there have the dimensions(Thread length, shoulder length, tensile strength) for the oh so hard to find replacement cam bolts (specifically 1969 cl350). Not quite willing to give up 30 bucks without a fight to get them made. Shown here as #14/#15
OK, mine are M6 bolts with total length of 2 cm (or 1.7 cm of thread length). The shouldered bolt has a 2 mm shoulder. I think fine 1 mm thread on these?
When, at most, it costs a mere 20$'s for piece of mind id rather pay the bucks then wind up scrapping the valves/piston. I got mega lucky this time with the bolts not correctly being tightened down, and that really shook me up into paying closer attention to detail the second time round ;D. To each his own and I'm glad that's working out for you. Cheers
