does anyone have any experience and/or pics of bikes with emgo shorty mufflers on a bike? thanks guys!

ps. if you couldn't tell, i'm a newbie to vintage bikes and cafes. i appreciate all the help i have recieved!!!

had a set of emgo trumpets if you look at my bike 1973 tx650 under show and shine you will see the pics the problem I had was 1 1/2 od head pipe with 1 3/4 id muffler always had a leak even with reducers got sick of it so got new mufflers.

I liked the emgo but they are very open pipes I had 2 customs baffles made to fit.

These mufflers are pretty cool, and also a pain. They can not be clamped on very easily, and should be welded on. Other than that, they give a nice sound.

hey crash, do those shorty's come angled like that or did you have to bend the pipes up a bit? ..by the way they do sound great!!!

nope, they are straight. I cut the pipe just after the bend so they would angle up.

i have the Emgo side slash shorty muffs on my 360... if it werent for the bad ass storms moving through id get you some video.... ill do it tomorrow.
