Been Around the Block
Shorty muffler with emgo reducer installing on 69 cb350 ..
reducer fits on exhaust end perfect.

There is a nut inside muffler can not remove it. Bolt comes out but not that nut it is preventing me from putting the muffler on the exhaust snug.

Any solutions?

I believe those mufflers are intended to be mounted facing either direction depending on your pipe diameter, perhaps turn it around?

That's what I thought also but the fat end goes around exhaust because the small end stops short due to the crease inside muffler

I had the same issue on my 450 when using those pipes. Nothing a cut off wheel can't notch around on the reducer. Just a thought.

P.S. The nut goes through a hole in the outside canister. The nut you are seeing is actually welded to the inside of the actual baffle IIRC. If you notch the reducer slightly, make sure to put the bolt back in to keep your baffle from vibrating around as the wadding shrinks/blow out/disintigrates.

I have real close to those from lowbrow and same spacer . When you go to mount them might need to make a lil thiner spacer to go with the one they gave you ! Just make them out of a beer can or some thin sheet metal :)
