Engine teardown

Well, I've decided the XS650 needs a new camchain guide. I have the engine out and the head loose. The only problem is the oil delivery tube. The nut on the fitting at the base does NOT want to let go. I've sprayed fluid film on it for a day, heated it up with a heat gun, but still it won't let go. I've just about given myself a hernia reefing on this stupid thing . I have half a mind to just cut the damn thing off and buy a new one from Mike's for $66. This is the only thing keeping the top end on right now.
