What do you think? CC

I LOVE IT! I really like the bulbous, almost cartoonish tank and seat combo...it really makes the bike seem kind of endurance racerish.

Cool and original bike!

Looks like you've still got a turn signal switch on the left side, but I don't see signals. Are they hidden or are you just using hand signals? Did you repurpose the switch?

Thanks.

No, no signals, just didn't bother with getting rid of the switch. I was thinking about maybe using it as a "secret" hot-wire ignition switch, but decided against it.

man just SICK work... just awesome! I have to learn how to rebuild my guages like that... my girl wants to keep the stock guages on her CB500...
man i love that tank!

That thing is gorgeous. I'm not really a fan of the large rump, but I think it's the only thing I'm not drooling over. "Baby's got back!" :)

I'm still totally amazed at the craftsmanship that went in to this thing, especially the tank and the seat. Very nice.

I will be moving back to Greenville SC in a few weeks, yes, another job change. When I get my bike finished (spring?) I will definitely have to make the trip up to Charlotte to see this thing in person.

Are you planning on going to Barber this year?

Thanks for the kind words guys, I do appreciate it!

Flug, I'm with you on the hump, but that's the way it turned out - form followed function. It doesn't appear quite so out of proportion in person I think :). We'll have to get together when Nixon is finished up. No plans for Barber, but anything could happen.

I imagine it would look a bit different in person and with you on it. Any reason you went with a full fuse box when it didn't have one before?

Love the bike man! I've been waiting to see the end result of that tank, and it is amazing. It has inspired me to to build a tank for my bike this winter.

Not really. I just wanted to have a fuse to protect each major circuit.

Really nice job CC! Bike is amazing! Craftsmanship and attention to detail on this build are over the top! Have you had the chance to ride it much yet? How about some riding photos????

Here's a little video I shot this morning after a short ride. I must have had the camera set to "make it look like old film mode" but I think its pretty cool. Keep in mind I haven't quite figured starting when hot (or cold for that matter) and I've done zero tuning so far. Also this is with the baffles installed.
