I have a 73 CB350f and I have many questions. I figured I would start a thread for guys that have or have had a CB350f so we can all be on the same page. Post a pic of your CB350f before and after if you have, and any questions that you have or comments that you would like to make about your CB350F.

I have had my 350F for 7 months now and I am very happy with her performance. I am going to start a build thread here in the next few weeks. any and all pointers and tips will be helpful..

Check under Hondas in the Big Arse Builds section. You'll find a few 350F's I believe. Great little bikes, even though the twins are faster ;D

You have a 350F and are happy with the performance? Are you sure it's not a 400F?

:D

Here is a link to my extremely slow 350F. Although it only goes about 15mph its mine and I love it ;)

veloracermike I like what you have done with the bike.. And Big Rich This is my first bike and I cannot complain, It gets me from point a to point b and thats all I need. My buddies got a 75cl360. and that thing can put out some power.

Tore the bike down completely, painted frame, stripped brackets etc. Engine was completely rebuilt, honed, bored etc etc. Bushings/bearings replaced throughout. I touched everything, and everything that wasn't good got replaced.

They're pretty easy to work on if you know what you're doing, just like anything else. I have a soft spot for smaller bikes so I love the thing to death. I still have a few things to do. Get some gaiters for up front, or make the boots I have work (you can see it in this picture, they get pulled up whenever I ride). I also need to chop the back, I want to do a rear hoop or something but I'm not entirely sure I want to keep this seat on the bike... May go for something a little more "brat styled". Tossing around the idea of stretching the swing arm a few inches, and then adding some tube to the back of the frame so I can have a longer brat seat.

Im loving it!I see you have no gauges or front fender? how do you like that?? I also see that you have the 2 into 1 pipes on both sides and straight bars. I like the transformation. That seat is nice is it a full leather upholstery? what kind of rear shocks do you have and size?

I'm going to be Modding my bike this winter. I know exactly what I want to do with the bike.
clip ons, chopped front fender, no rear fender. cafe seat, pod air filters, no gauges, see through mid section with small hidden battery, I have four into 1 pipes that are going to be wrapped in black header and the pipe end black. side plate holder and brake light. I am going to paint the tank a flat dark green army color and the engine flat black. the rims will be flat black and the other accent pieces will be glossy black. such as lights, bars, gas cap, fender. ect... I will start a build thread here soon.. but just an idea of how it will look. I wish had a pic of how i envision it.

Ya, I got rid of the big factory gauges. There is a mini speedo hiding up there, you just can't really see it in that picture. Just made a quick and dirty bracket for it out of a street sign that I came across awhile back (long story...) But to be honest, I hardly ever use it. It's easy enough for me to judge speed & RPMs while I'm riding, I've just left it because it looks nice :p.

No fender as of now, I was riding without it to see how I liked it. I can tell you this, if you live on or ride on any roads with a lot of gravel and whatnot that kicks up and you don't plan on running a front fender... Invest in a full face helmet or a shield for your 3/4. I've eaten a few rocks. Also not very fun in anything wet, sprays dirty water everywhere. I've also noticed a bit of uncomfortable flex in the front when I'm pushing the bike. It could definitely use some sort of brace up there now that the fender is gone. Truthfully, I think I'll end up putting mine back on, or making something a little bit more low-profile.

The pipes came with the bike. Not sure who made them, they use the factory header pipes and then just go 2-1 on either side like you said. They're practically straight pipes with a small baffle at the end, They sound pretty mean.

I bought the clubmans originally, but after riding around a bit I decided I wanted something a bit more comfortable seeing as I don't have rearsets, so I went with the drag bars you see in the picture.

The seat was glassed & upholstered by hand by a member here. The leather it's wrapped with started its life as a leather jacket (well it started it's life as a cow but you know what I mean) It's nice and weathered, exactly the look I was going for. It's really not comfortable at all, there's no padding aside from the jacket itself... I may cut some stick on seat foam to fit and stick it on at least the "ass" portion of the seat.

The rear shocks are factory stock off a CB750. I Think they're around 14 inches? I'm a bigger guy, 6'1" and around 215lbs, I wanted something a bit more substantial than the OEM CB350 shocks to hold me.

Sounds like you have a pretty good idea of how you want yours to turn out, I'll certainly be watching your build thread when you start it! Enjoy the build process, because once you finish you're going to miss it and probably want to start another bike ;D
